Fundraiser Committee

Position overview

The Fundraiser Committee plans the annual Pickleball fundraiser tournament — creating the initial plan, delegating responsibilities to other interns, and supervising day-of operations. It also brainstorms new fundraising ideas and trains/recruits the intern(s) who will run it the following year. Capped at 2–4 current student interns.

Gap-year student(s) should head this and pick a future gap-year student to observe, who then takes over in their gap year. Touch points at least 2×/month keep shadowing students in the loop. Observing students help minimally (≈25% or less while in school). Other students can help as the lead student / leadership sees fit.

Compensation: The FCAP leadership team considers significant involvement in committee(s) during bi-annual intern reviews and when determining compensation changes. Additionally, committee hours can be clocked as PD time up to 2 hours per week — reach out to leadership if more time is needed.
